Barcelona, March 2026. Within the framework of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, tiivii.tv announces a new growth milestone: the broadcasting of 750 sporting events every weekend, consolidating its audiovisual platform specialized in local sports in Spain.

Since its launch in September 2024 with the main sports leagues in Galicia, tiivii.tv has experienced continuous growth. In less than two years, the platform has incorporated clubs and competitions from Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country, Castilla y León, Extremadura, Catalonia, Andalusia, Murcia and Alicante, building a national audiovisual network that allows fans to follow the sports of their local teams live.

Technology driven by Artificial Intelligence 

tiivii.tv is a video platform that receives matches broadcast live with automatic production systems governed by Artificial Intelligence. Every weekend, matches are transmitted through a set of intelligent cameras that perform automated tracking of the game. 

The AI not only directs the live production, but also: 

• Generates automatic match highlights
• Creates match summaries on the platform
• Facilitates technical analysis for clubs and coaches

This technological model allows for scalable production that operates 24 hours a day, optimizing costs and guaranteeing massive coverage of local competitions.

In addition to tiivii.tv, the tiivii software is also the basis for the technological platform of okliga.tv, specialized in top-level roller hockey in Spain. 

On okliga.tv, the 14 matches corresponding to the matchdays of the OK Liga and the OK Liga Iberdrola are broadcast weekly, along with summaries of said matches, and it also broadcasts all the federation’s competitions; King’s and Queen’s Cups and men’s and women’s Supercups 

Every weekend, more than 50,000 people enjoy local sports live through tiivii.tv, nearly 500,000 view content on social networks, and more than 15,000 viewers follow the best national roller hockey.

Expansion in Madrid: 25 new venues

The company has recently won the project for the broadcasting of sporting events in 25 venues of the Madrid City Council, which will significantly increase the number of events broadcast in the coming months and reinforce its presence in one of the country’s main sporting markets.

In addition to Madrid, prominent regional televisions already use tiivii to broadcast events in their coverage areas.

At tiivii, we also joined the movement with a very special project: bringing Verdi’s opera Falstaff to unconventional spaces in Sweden, showing how technology can expand access to the arts like never before.

Opera on a Lorry: A Traveling Stage in Skåne

The initiative, called “Opera on a Lorry,” toured 18 towns across the Skåne region of Sweden with a creative one-hour version of Giuseppe Verdi’s Falstaff. Streets, squares, and parks became improvised stages, bringing opera closer to diverse audiences in informal, accessible settings.

But the project didn’t stop there. The performances were also streamed live to 190 nursing homes across the region—bringing music and joy directly to people who might otherwise not be able to attend. This simple but powerful idea democratized access to culture and made opera part of daily life for many.

This pioneering project is part of the Kalaudiscope initiative, a collaboration between four partners exploring how digital technology can enhance the performing arts before, during, and after live shows:

• The project will cover during the first phase: 51 football fields and 53 indoor venues; and 123 football and futsal clubs, broadcasting more than 1,250 games per year, both men’s and women’s. 
• The production center will be hosted at the CSA of the Ciudad de las TIC, and will make intensive use of Cinfo’s Artificial Intelligence
• The production will be hybrid, and will be possible to produce both automatically or manually assisted with artificial intelligence. Each venue will be equipped with 3 cameras and sensors to capture the scoreboard. The project also intends to install 5G connectivity to ease the streaming.
• The project is open to other sports, such as basketball, handball, hockey and volleyball. With these sports, 130 fields and 3,000 games will be covered annually.
• The project counts with the help of Galicia’s IGAPE-Xunta through the Centros Dixitais program.

A Coruña, June 10th 2024

The RFGF and Cinfo have announced at the “O Camiño do Futgal” congress the signing of an agreement to launch the Galician sports television during the 24-25 season. 

The Galician sports television is an internet television platform that will allow all sports fans to watch their favorite local teams. This platform will be available on mobile apps, Smart TVs, Android TV and web browsers. The web version will also have the multicamera feature and tactical view for coaches.

With this agreement, 123 Galician teams, both male and female, playing in the autonomic football and futsal leagues will be available in a single platform where their fans can easily find the matches between their favorite teams. The RFGF has more than 110,000 federation cards, who will receive this service for free. 

The broadcasting of the games uses an artificial intelligence system for production on the cloud, which will make it possible to stream every game, while minimizing costs but without compromising quality; as all events will have the option to include live commentary, replays, a scoreboard and all features necessary for an attractive production. The center for production and control of the project will be located at the CSA building in Ciudad de las TIC.

The leagues selected by the RFGF for the project are Galicia’s ‘preferente’ mens football league, Galicia’s 1st division women’s league, and mens and womens ‘preferente’ leagues for futsal.

This platform will be free for all fans and Galician federations, so they can broadcast their leagues and create a community around Galician sports.

The project follows a collaborative model. The clubs themselves will be able to manage their ads inventory, or even have their own announcers, on or off screen.

With this new OTT, redondelaberta.gal, all citizens of Redondela will be able to stream live sports, cultural events, institutional events, and local festivities. Most of the events broadcasted on this OTT will be produced with tiivii, an automatic production system developed by cinfo. A system of cameras automatically managed by Artificial Intelligence and capable of adding scoreboards, voiceover, graphics, etc., will be responsible for broadcasting the matches played in the Manuel González Soto, Marismas, and “Bombonera” venues, every week.
Without the need for anyone to be present in the venues, completely automatic, at a very reduced cost, and simplifying production tasks to the maximum, every week you can experience the excitement of handball, futsal, skating, or billiards matches, among others.
This system also records all matches and training sessions, providing coaches and players with a multimedia library at their disposal to improve technically day by day.
In addition to sport events, town hall meetings can also be viewed, which are also produced using the same automatic production system, tiivii, and broadcast live on redondelaberta.gal.

The city council of Vilagarcía de Arousa in Pontevedra and R have reached an agreement to develop a project based on 5G technology for recording and broadcasting sports events (‘videostreaming’) in real-time. This state-of-the-art service will be implemented at the municipal stadium of A Lomba through the automatic and remote production system with 4K video capabilities tiivii.

The artificial intelligence applied to the automatic broadcast of the event will allow it to be received through multiple internet platforms without the need for camera operators, both in deferred and live modes. Additionally, remote production can be executed, for example, of a football match played at the stadium facilities, through a cloud production table accessible from anywhere and with the possibility of manual management. A multicamera system included in the pilot also facilitates immediate simultaneous camera changes, considering the most specific and interesting tactical objectives for the sport.

Cutting-edge technology for enjoying sports in real-time

The trial, which has just been launched, will test the 5G data connectivity of this state-of-the-art service on the Paragon platform of Singtel, R’s technological partner, and with cinfo’s tiivii application.

The platform is pioneering in the number of capabilities it brings together applied to 5G networks; among others, the ability to provide unprecedented control of multiple applications. This translates into speed, efficiency, and reduction of operational costs and people when offering the videostreaming service that will be tested at the A Lomba stadium in the coming months. Additionally, with a single tool, the technological requirements of the system in cybersecurity, present and future innovation, and optimized 5G are covered.

In the viewing of the event, there is no limit to viewers, who will appreciate all these advantages – simultaneously on several platforms if they wish – when enjoying sports in real-time (or deferred) with excellent image quality, potentially enriched with melodies, graphics, voiceovers, or canned videos, manual replay of plays from the sports event, etc.

The intelligent system of the platform will allow the broadcasting and recording, for example, of competitions and official football matches, exhibitions, training sessions, and other events of that nature held at the Vilagarcía stadium.

And to collaborate in training, “Second Coach”

Another feature of the system is “Second Coach,” especially aimed at trainers and technical staff to improve sports performance through recordings of training routines and matches as technical execution for viewing and analysis at another time. Following the project’s idea, training sessions or techniques can be recorded and viewed from different camera angles, make advances, reverses, and zooms in the video or even mark points of interest for retrieval and review later.

In summary, the current agreement to test and implement this pioneering 5G system is just the first step of a cutting-edge service with great potential. Its path opens, on this occasion to the Pontevedra locality, immense possibilities of technological innovation for the enjoyment of all kinds of events in the immediate future.
